Global and workspace defaults for questions and render behavior.

defaults

Key-value pairs for questions. Values must be scalar (string, bool, number).

render

Key	Values	Meaning
accept_hooks	yes, ask, no	Default hook policy
hook_timeout_ms	Integer ≥ 0	Hook timeout in ms (0 = no timeout)
existing_path_behavior	error, overwrite, skip	Behavior when target exists

Unknown keys → error on load.

Render config priority

1. Global config render
2. Workspace config render
3. Explicit CLI flags (--accept-hooks, -f, -s, --hook-timeout-ms, …)

Note: Config is a soft default layer, not a policy lockdown. CLI and answers override question defaults.
