DraftLab suggests bans and picks for the current Ranked map. I wrote it for myself because I do not follow every balance change, and catching up during a draft is too late. It helps me catch up with the meta and makes Ranked suck less, mostly by making sure my team bans the broken Brawlers before we have to play against them.
It works best with three people on voice chat: one runs DraftLab and enters the draft while the team talks. It helps most at Mythic and above, where banning a broken Brawler or combination can save a whole game. It can still get better, but it is already fast and simple enough for a live draft.
- Map, mode, rank, bans, and visible picks
- Current map-specific meta data, with broader fallbacks when data is thin
- Each player's Power levels and loadout
- Matchups, team composition, likely replies, and personal match history
The loadout score checks Power level, Star Power, Hypercharge, gadget, gears, and Buffies. Brawlers below the Power requirement are locked; missing loadout items lower the score.

DraftLab ranks the available options and shows the reason, score, confidence, and evidence quality.
1. LOAD Use the local snapshot or refresh the available data.
2. TEAM Choose yourself and up to two teammates. DraftLab loads each roster.
3. MAP Search for the current map or mode.
4. DRAFT Enter bans and picks as they happen. The rankings update each time.
5. REVIEW Optionally compare the finished draft with the latest match.

DraftLab uses BrawlTools, the Supercell API, BrawlAPI, and Supercell release notes. It prefers exact-map evidence, then falls back to map type, mode, and overall data. A Supercell API token is optional; with one, DraftLab collects public Ranked battle logs for exact-map observations.
Run draftlab --doctor to see what is available locally. Missing use rates stay unknown, and failed refreshes keep the last valid snapshot.
Scores and confidence are directional model outputs, not calibrated probabilities. The calculation and its limits are documented in METHODOLOGY.md.
I built DraftLab for myself and am sharing it in case it is useful to other players. Feedback is welcome, especially on bad recommendations, missing matchups, and CLI friction. See CONTRIBUTING.md.
