Changes

  • Tabs: News, Guides and Blog with counts, as an accessible tablist. The tab is kept in the address (/blog#guides), so links can open a specific tab.
  • Guides on the blog page: read from content/guides and linked to /guides/<slug> with reading time. /guides stays as it is.
  • Blog tab: every post not tagged news; the ICPC and live sessions posts had no category and were hidden from both old tabs.
  • Layout: the newest featured item leads each tab in a large black card, then an editorial list (date, title, summary, thumbnail), newest first. Works at 375px.
  • SEO: title and description now say News, guides and blog.

Testing

  • /blog#guides opens Guides; switching tabs updates the hash. News 6, Guides 3, Blog 2; the 2025 report is last in News.
  • 375px: tab bar fits (327px), no horizontal overflow. tsc and lint clean.

The blog page now has three tabs with counts: News, Guides (read from content/guides) and Blog (every post that is not news, so the ICPC and sessions posts are no longer hidden). Each tab leads with its newest featured item in a large card, then an editorial list, newest first, with date, reading time, summary and a thumbnail. The chosen tab is kept in the address (/blog#guides) so it can be linked.
