An interactive web application that visualizes 9 classic algorithms — 5 sorting, 2 searching, and 2 graph traversal — each implemented from scratch rather than called from a library, with real-time step-by-step animations.
Built with a Django backend handling algorithm logic and execution state, and a JavaScript/HTML/CSS frontend rendering each step as it happens. Developed as the Major Project at MVSR Engineering College.
Choose an algorithm, configure the input, and watch the logic unfold one step at a time. Because every algorithm is written from scratch, each intermediate state — every comparison, swap, and visit — is exposed to the frontend rather than hidden inside a library call.
- Step-by-step visualization of algorithm execution
- Real-time animations for sorting, searching, and graph traversal
- All 9 algorithms implemented from scratch
- Django backend for algorithm logic and state
- Clean, responsive interface
- Modular structure for adding new algorithms
Sorting (5) Bubble Sort · Selection Sort · Insertion Sort · Merge Sort · Quick Sort
Searching (2) Linear Search · Binary Search
Graph Traversal (2) Breadth-First Search (BFS) · Depth-First Search (DFS)
