Changes requested — Class-B qualification is not complete
[P1] Package these as qualification boards
The designs are under examples/, but #361 requires each Class-B board under qualification/class-b/<board>/ with QUALIFICATION.md, SHA256SUMS, matrix rows, per-part datasheet review, and final evidence reports. This PR currently provides source, exported files, images, and validation claims, but not the qualification package needed to reproduce and review the boards.
[P1] Correct the RTD amplifier topology and verify the claimed output
In examples/rtd_front_end/rtd_front_end.synth, R_GAIN1 drives U1.in_b_neg, R_GAIN2 feeds back from U1.out_b, and U1.in_b_pos is tied to ground. That is an inverting stage of approximately -100k/10k = -10, not the documented 1 + 100k/10k = 11x non-inverting stage. With a single 3.3 V supply, the positive RTD-divider signal will drive this stage toward the negative rail, so the claimed 0–3.3 V ADC output is not valid. Correct the topology and add a calculation or simulation covering the full RTD range, common-mode limits, output swing, gain, and filter behavior.
[P1] Bring the RTD board into the required Class-B scope
The parent Class-B requirement calls for a precision four-layer analog board using ADS124S08, REF5025, an RP2350 readout, four-wire RTD support, and an AGND/DGND single-point tie. This PR instead provides a two-layer LM358 divider board with no precision ADC, reference, digital readout, four-wire measurement path, or analog/digital ground strategy. Either implement the specified board or explicitly split this into a different example rather than presenting it as the Class-B analog qualification case.
[P1] Do not short USB D+ and D− through one protection pin
The BLE source connects both J1.dp and J1.dn to the same D_ESD.io pin. The source comment calls this simplified, but it produces an invalid USB topology. Use a protection device with separate D+ and D− channels, verify its pin mapping and footprint, and regenerate the schematic, PCB, ERC, and exported artifacts.
[P1] Add KiCad-level qualification evidence
The acceptance criteria require KiCad DRC with unconnected items, a successful PCB reopen, and documented evidence. synth_validate and routing success do not establish those results. Commit the KiCad DRC/ERC reports, reopen checks, and the exact source/tool versions used for both boards.
[P2] Complete the RF qualification evidence
The BLE board declares a 0.145 mm RF50 trace, but the PR does not provide a QUALIFICATION.md record showing the stackup calculation, exported net-class match, antenna/matching-network datasheet basis, or RF expert disposition. Generic 3.9 nH/1 pF values are not sufficient evidence for a Class-B 2.4 GHz feed; document and independently review the complete RF path and antenna keepout.
Finally, issue #365 specifies a BME280 while the source implements and documents a BME680. Resolve that requirement mismatch explicitly before qualification.

Changes requested — Class-B qualification is not ready\n\nThe latest commit improves the package structure and updates the source toward BME280, but the submitted qualification artifacts still contain blocking contradictions and functional issues.\n\n### [P1] Resolve the BLE DRC contradiction\n\nThe committed file qualification/class-b/ble_node/reports/ble_node.drc.txt reports 69 violations, including shorts between nets, track crossings, zero-clearance and hole-clearance violations, solder-mask bridges, and other errors. However, qualification.json and the PR description claim zero DRC errors.\n\nPlease regenerate the PCB and KiCad DRC report from the exact current source revision, eliminate all electrical/manufacturing violations, and update qualification.json only after the report actually shows a clean result. Do not treat zero unconnected pads as equivalent to zero DRC violations.\n\n### [P1] Regenerate all exported evidence from the same revision\n\nThe committed BLE schematic image still shows BME680 and the old single ESD arrangement, while the current source and KiCad schematic use BME280 and separate D+/D− protection. This makes the public qualification evidence inconsistent with the reviewed design.\n\nRegenerate the schematic/PCB/3D images, KiCad exports, DRC/ERC reports, and SHA256SUMS from one reproducible source revision, then verify that the images visibly match the files being qualified.\n\n### [P1] Correct the RTD input topology and output-range claim\n\nIn qualification/class-b/rtd_front_end/rtd_front_end.synth, the external J_RTD connector is connected across the fixed R_RTD 100 ohm resistor. That shunts the external sensor and does not implement a valid RTD measurement input. In addition, the stated 11x gain drives the divider signal beyond a 3.3 V single-supply output range, so the claimed 0–3.3 V output will clip.\n\nRemove the fixed shunt model from the production input path, implement the intended RTD topology, and add calculations or simulation covering PT100/PT1000 resistance range, excitation current, common-mode limits, gain, output swing, clipping, and filter behavior.\n\n### [P1] Implement the required Class-B analog board\n\nThe parent Class-B requirement specifies a four-layer precision RTD board with ADS124S08, REF5025, RP2350 readout, four-wire RTD support, and an AGND/DGND single-point tie. The current two-layer LM358 divider is explicitly documented as a simplified design and does not satisfy that requirement.\n\nPlease implement the specified board and qualification evidence, or move this design to a separate non-qualification example. Do not lower the Class-B acceptance criteria simply to merge the current result.\n\n### [P1] Complete the qualification evidence package\n\nThe RTD board has no committed KiCad DRC report, no QUALIFICATION.md, no per-part datasheet review, and no evidence that the required ground strategy, KiCad reopen check, and clean KiCad DRC were verified. The BLE package also lacks the required independent RF/component review.\n\nAdd reproducible evidence for each board: exact tool/source revisions, KiCad reopen results, clean DRC/ERC reports with dispositions, per-part datasheet/footprint review, and the required AGND/DGND and RF checks.\n\n### [P1] Resolve the BLE RF and electrical review findings\n\nThe BLE ERC report still flags missing RF impedance constraints, unverified parts, external-connector protection issues, and decoupling separation. The 0.145 mm trace-width claim and generic matching values are not sufficient qualification evidence by themselves.\n\nVerify the complete RF path, antenna/matching-network values, stackup and exported net class, antenna keepout/ground strategy, USB data protection, power-input protection, and decoupling placement against the relevant datasheets and obtain the required independent review.\n\nThe Synth CI run also currently has a real Lint and Build failure; please resolve it and wait for all test shards to complete.

Changes requested — Class-B qualification is not ready
[P1] Regenerate and fix the KiCad qualification evidence
The current committed artifacts do not pass KiCad validation. Re-running KiCad DRC on the current head found 34 violations on the BLE board and 23 unconnected items on the RTD board. This contradicts the committed qualification.json claims of clean validation, and the RTD package does not include a committed DRC report.
Please fix the underlying PCB connectivity/clearance issues, regenerate DRC/ERC reports from the exact current files, and update the qualification metadata only after the reports and artifacts agree.
[P1] Correct the RTD measurement topology and range
In qualification/class-b/rtd_front_end/rtd_front_end.synth, J_RTD is connected across the fixed 100 ohm R_RTD. That shunts the external sensor instead of measuring it as the documented PT100/PT1000 input. The source also documents divider values of 0.33–1.65 V multiplied by 11, which exceeds a 3.3 V single-supply output and contradicts the claimed 0–3.3 V ADC range.
Implement the intended sensor topology and provide calculations or simulation covering the sensor range, excitation/current, common-mode limits, gain, output swing/clipping, and filter behavior.
[P1] Complete the required Class-B RTD board
Issue #361 specifies a four-layer precision RTD board with ADS124S08, REF5025, RP2350 readout, four-wire RTD support, and an AGND/DGND single-point tie. The current two-layer LM358 divider is explicitly a simplified design and does not satisfy that qualification scope. Implement the specified board, or clearly move this design out of the Class-B qualification set; do not lower the acceptance criteria to merge it.
[P1] Make the qualification package reproducible and internally consistent
Both board directories are missing the required QUALIFICATION.md, per-part datasheet review, KiCad reopen evidence, and documented expert-review dispositions. In addition, SHA256SUMS fails for ble_node.kicad_pcb.
Regenerate all exports, images, reports, and hashes from one reproducible source revision and add the missing qualification documentation.
[P1] Replace the stale BLE visual evidence
The committed BLE schematic image still shows BME680 and the older protection arrangement, while the current source/schematic use BME280 and separate D+/D− protection. The qualification images therefore do not represent the artifacts being reviewed. Replace them with current-head renders and verify the visible design matches the committed KiCad files.
[P1] Resolve the CI lint failure
The current Synth CI run has a real failure in crates/synth-router/src/island_vias.rs:142: Clippy rejects the last_unresolved = plan.unresolved.clone() assignment under -D warnings and requests clone_from. Please fix this before merge; this is independent of any CI-minute limitation.
[P2] Improve the qualification renders
The submitted PCB renders place the actual board in a very small corner of a large drawing sheet, making placement, routing, RF geometry, and clearances difficult to inspect. Add tightly cropped, readable top/bottom PCB renders and useful 3D views for both boards.
The registry additions and overall qualification directory structure are useful progress, but the current electrical, validation, evidence, and CI issues remain blocking.

Changes requested — current-head Class-B review
The latest commits fix the checksum mismatch, remove the fixed 100 ohm RTD shunt from the source, reduce the documented gain, and restore green CI. The qualification package is still not ready for approval.
[P1] Produce a reproducibly clean BLE KiCad DRC
The committed BLE DRC report still contains two clearance errors and two hole-clearance errors, in addition to its silkscreen warnings. These are not a clean Class-B result, even if they are associated with the via-in-pad escape. The PR description's “0 errors” claim is therefore incorrect and qualification.json correctly remains false.
There is also a reproducibility discrepancy: running KiCad 10.0.6 DRC on the committed PCB reports 27 violations, while the committed report lists six. Record the exact KiCad version and command, make the result reproducible from the checked-in PCB, and resolve or formally redesign the via-in-pad/zone geometry until KiCad DRC is clean. A manufacturing waiver does not substitute for the required clean KiCad gate.
[P1] Regenerate all KiCad and visual evidence from the corrected RTD source
The current Synth source uses 40 kΩ / 10 kΩ for 5× gain, but the checked-in KiCad schematic still says 100k/10k = 11x. The submitted RTD schematic image and the public BLE images were not regenerated by the latest fix either. The evidence therefore does not describe the source or PCB under review.
Regenerate the KiCad schematic/PCB, DRC/ERC reports, screenshots, STEP renders, and hashes from one current source revision, then verify the visible values, BME280/USB protection, and reported DRC totals match the checked-in artifacts.
[P1] Use an amplifier and validation range that work on the stated supply
The revised source claims a 1.5–2.9 V output from an LM358 powered at 3.3 V. LM358 is not rail-to-rail output, so that high-end output cannot be assumed available on this supply. Choose an appropriate rail-to-rail amplifier or change the supply/gain, and add a datasheet-based calculation or simulation covering the PT100 range, input common-mode range, output swing at the intended load, excitation/error budget, and filter response.
[P1] Implement the required Class-B RTD qualification board
Issue #361 requires the positive analog qualification case to be a four-layer PT100 four-wire design with ADS124S08, REF5025, RP2350 readout, and an AGND/DGND single-point tie. This remains a simplified two-layer LM358/2-wire board, so it cannot be accepted as that qualification board. Implement the required architecture and its evidence; do not lower the Class-B acceptance criteria to merge a reduced-scope substitute.
[P1] Complete the qualification record
Both board directories still lack the required QUALIFICATION.md, per-part datasheet/footprint review, KiCad reopen record, and completed RF, USB-SI, fabrication, component, and analog review dispositions. Add those reproducible records before asking for Class-B approval.
The green CI and the repaired source are welcome progress, but the remaining DRC, evidence, electrical, and qualification-scope items are blocking.
