test: hand-written surface calls parse for surface/WIR-divergent catalog entries #461

Closed

Description

@e54-bot

Parent: #452

Problem

Set/Modify Player Variable At Index declared the WIR-shaped signature and omitted the surface player argument (#445). The existing conformance check did not catch it because actions.md is regenerated from the catalog, so docs and catalog agreed on the same wrong signature.

Scope

Add tests with hand-written Workshop surface calls for catalog entries whose surface and WIR shapes differ, currently Set Player Variable At Index and Modify Player Variable At Index. Identify whether any other entry diverges and cover it too.

Non-goals

Extending the census enumeration to signatures (decided against in #452).

Acceptance criteria

  • A hand-written surface call for each divergent entry, written independently of catalog-generated docs, parses and validates.
  • A surface call with the player argument omitted is rejected.
  • The test fails if the catalog signature drops a surface argument.
