Use GITHUB_TOKEN for the release workflow - #520

The GitHub App behind AI_ELEMENTS_APP_ID no longer exists, so the token step has failed on every push to main since May 2026. Use the built-in GITHUB_TOKEN and let changesets commit through the GitHub API so the Version Packages commit is signed.

The Release workflow has failed on every push to
mainsince 2026-05-27, so nothing has published to npm since then. That includes the CLI deprecation notice from #519. The first step,actions/create-github-app-token, getsIntegration not found(404) because the GitHub App behindAI_ELEMENTS_APP_IDno longer exists. Its old "Version Packages" PRs, like #394, now show a blankapp/author.This PR drops the app token and uses the built-in
GITHUB_TOKEN:ai-elements-bot[bot]git user.changesets/actionsets upgithub-actions[bot]itself.commitMode: github-apiso the Version Packages commit and release tags are created through the API and signed by GitHub. Without it, the org's required-signatures ruleset would reject the push.Before merging
test.yml, because PRs opened withGITHUB_TOKENdon't trigger other workflows. The release job already runspnpm testbefore versioning.Follow-ups
generate-skills.ymlis broken by the same deleted app, but this switch can't fix it. It pushes straight tomain, which the org rulesets block for anything that can't bypass them. It needs either a bypass-capable app or a rewrite to open a PR.AI_ELEMENTS_APP_IDandAI_ELEMENTS_APP_PRIVATE_KEYsecrets.
