Points every Flaky Tests download instruction at Trunk's release host instead of GitHub releases.

Do not merge until trunk.io serves the CLI. The backfill and promotion from trunk-io/analytics-cli#1216 must have run first. Today https://trunk.io/releases/analytics-cli/prod/channel.json returns 403, so every snippet here would fail.

What changed

  • Every snippet resolves the latest version, then downloads that version's asset. Asset names are unchanged.
    VERSION=$(curl -fsSL https://trunk.io/releases/analytics-cli/prod/channel.json | cut -d'"' -f4)
curl -fL --retry 3 "https://trunk.io/releases/analytics-cli/prod/${VERSION}/trunk-analytics-cli-<target>.tar.gz" | tar -xz
  • 31 framework pages: the four-platform SKU code groups.
  • 12 CI provider pages: Atlassian Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Buildkite, CircleCI, Drone, GitLab, Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, other CI, Semaphore, Travis.
    • In YAML list items, the two commands are joined with && on one line.
    • Jenkins uses sh '''…''', so the single quotes in cut -d'"' survive Groovy.
    • Buildkite and Drone escape the runtime variable as $${VERSION}. Both interpolate ${VAR} when the pipeline is parsed, and would otherwise blank it.
  • CLI reference: describes the host, channel.json, and pinning a version (set VERSION). It adds one <Note>: releases are also on GitHub, but GitHub rate-limits downloads, so it is not a reliable source for CI.

Checks

  • Every changed YAML snippet still parses (PyYAML; 31 blocks, before and after).
  • cut -d'"' -f4 extracts the version from both {"latest":"x"} and {"latest": "x"}.
  • mint dev was not run locally.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Every snippet now resolves the latest version from
https://trunk.io/releases/analytics-cli/prod/channel.json and downloads
<version>/<asset> from the same host. The CLI reference notes that the
GitHub releases still exist but are rate-limited, so they are not a
reliable source for CI.

Buildkite and Drone interpolate ${VAR} when the pipeline is parsed, so
their snippets escape the runtime VERSION as $${VERSION}.
