LitMod2D_2.0 is a tool to unravel the thermal, compositional, density, and seismological structure of the crust and upper mantle (~400 km depth) along cross-sections by integrating geophysical and geochemical dataset in a self-consistence thermodynamic manner.
Geophysics: Geophysical applications of the SymC framework. Applies χ ≈ 1 stability principles to planetary systems including seismic dynamics and fault behavior. Foundation for expanding into broader planetary sciences as the framework develops.
Inferring cratonic lithosphere density from surface topography. Finds the topographic response to a thickening cratonic root saturates past ~165 km depth. Linear, ridge, lasso, polynomial and piecewise regression in scikit-learn.
Our addition of earthquake processes to LaMEM (Lithosphere and Mantle Evolution Model), a 3D parallel code to simulate geodynamic and geomechanical processes, as developed by e.g., Anton Popov and Boris Kaus.
