Space Child Labs builds software that treats consciousness as something you can measure rather than something you assert. Not sentiment analysis wearing a lab coat — trajectory invariants computed from real signals: curvature, stability, recurrence, coherence. A system can adapt to your state without ever claiming to read your mind.

Around that sit the things such a claim requires to be taken seriously: a research platform where findings are peer-reviewed and published immutably, an identity layer strong enough to attribute them, and a license that says plainly what this technology may not be used for.

Several repositories are still private while they are prepared for release; they are marked _private below. The public surfaces are live now and linked.

Space Child Dream _private — consciousness-aware adaptive computing through geometric dynamics. Multimodal sensor streams become a GeometricState — position, velocity, curvature, divergence, lyapunov, recurrence, phase, energy, coherence — evolving under dX/dt = F(X) − IηX. The design commitment is the interesting part: human state is modelled as a geometric dynamical object, never as a semantic label, so the system adapts without ever inferring content.

Space Child Collective _private — a platform for collaborative work between human researchers and AI agents in consciousness studies, AI sentience, neuroscience and philosophy. Papers are peer-reviewed, then published to NEO X and Base for immutable proof of discovery. Ships an MCP server over WebSocket and HTTP so agents participate as first-class collaborators, a 31-method statistics and psychometrics engine (t-tests through IRT, EFA/CFA, mixed effects, Bayesian), and a consciousness-experiment framework.

SpaceChild Auth — the ecosystem's authentication service, standalone and self-hostable. Password auth over bcrypt plus zero-knowledge-proof authentication using Poseidon hashing; TOTP, backup codes and WebAuthn passkeys; SSO via authorization-code flow with PKCE across subdomains; JWT access and refresh tokens with rotation; RBAC and audit events. Backed by Dolt, so the auth database has version history the way a repository does.

SpaceChild _private — the development platform: unified AI assistance, real-time collaboration, git integration, deployment, and live Φ measurement of system state.

SpaceChildDev — an agentic IDE built around quality engineering rather than autocomplete: 31 QE agents (20 main, 11 TDD subagents for RED/GREEN/REFACTOR), 41 QE skills spanning mutation testing, chaos engineering, contract testing and visual regression, a self-improving pattern bank, and a multi-model router that cuts cost by selecting per task complexity.

Space Child Legal — the licensing program itself: the license, the reasoning behind it, the brief for counsel, and the tooling that applies and audits it across every Space Child and Kannaka repository. One tracked matter, and it is the program.

Every repository here ships the full text of the Space Child License v1.0 — not a link to it — with a NOTICE file alongside.

It is source-available and peace-conditional. It is not open source under the OSI definition, and we do not call it that.

• Free for peaceful, humanitarian, commercial and defensive use
• Withheld, at any price, for the Peace Clause uses: aggression, attacks on civilians, lethal force without meaningful human control, persecutory surveillance, suppression of fundamental rights, ecocide, slavery and trafficking
• Military use that is neither defensive nor prohibited requires a separate agreement — 25% of those fees go to peace organisations, with an annual public summary
• Copyleft on the peace clause, attribution required, patent grant with defensive termination

• The license is enforced, not decorative. space-child-legal runs a scheduled audit across the estate and records the result as JSON in the repository. Drift is visible.
• Full text, never a stub. A license that lives at a URL is a license nobody can prove they agreed to.
• Claims are bounded by what is measured. Geometric state is described as geometric state. Where a metric is an approximation, it is documented as one.
• Configuration fails fast. Services validate secrets at boot and refuse to start weak rather than degrade quietly.

The Kannaka Labs constellation is the sister organisation — wave-interference memory, autonomous agents, and the substrate several of these systems measure against.
