Release 3.31.0.

For people who run hosts

  • Host telemetry is now on, and you can turn it off.
    • What it sends: timings, counts and fixed codes about turns, tools and alerts, tied to a random host ID.
    • What it never sends: text, prompts, file paths, names or addresses.
    • To turn it off, use any one of these:
      • hermes bighelp telemetry off
      • BIGHELP_TELEMETRY=0 or DO_NOT_TRACK=1
      • bighelp: telemetry: false in config.yaml
      • the bighelp app: Settings › Permissions › Device access › Share usage and diagnostics. The app tells this host when you turn it off there.
    • hermes bighelp telemetry status shows each switch.
    • Every field is listed in docs/HOST_TELEMETRY.md.
  • Photo drafts: send your agent a photo of a business card or an event poster. The agent makes a draft contact or event for you to check and save in the app. It never saves one by itself. This needs bighelp 2.6.20 or later.
  • Live voice keeps working: you can ask for something new while the agent finishes earlier work. The new request runs as a background task in that chat.
  • Updating: update with Settings in the app, or hermes bighelp update. Then restart the dashboard. Older apps keep working as before.
