Docker Compose stacks forged in the fires of Nábrók — the mythical pants of Norse legend.
Nabrok is a curated collection of Docker Compose configurations designed to make your life easier. Inspired by Nábrók, the enchanted pants from Norse mythology said to contain all other pants within them, Nabrok aims to be the one repository you need for Docker Compose setups.
Just as Nábrók held every pair of pants, Nabrok holds every compose file you'll ever want.
Because setting up services shouldn't require reinventing the wheel (or the YAML) every time. Nabrok provides:
- Quick starts — spin up entire stacks with a single
docker compose up - Modular & reusable — compose files designed to be forked, adapted, and combined
- Well documented — because reading cryptic YAML at 2 AM is nobody's idea of fun
- Educational cheat sheets — each stack includes a crash course so you actually learn what the tech does
# Clone the repo
git clone https://github.com/<your-org>/nabrok.git
cd nabrok
# Pick a stack and go
cd slacks/<stack-name>
docker compose up -dContributions are welcome! Whether it's a new compose file, an improvement to an existing one, or better documentation — fork, change, and open a PR.
Heads up: these pants aren't battle-tested yet. They're more like training pants. We need you to wear them out, test them in the wild, and let us know if anything leaks. If you find accidents in your pants, don't say a word — just open a PR and we'll wipe together. 👖
MIT — do whatever you want with it.
Forged with magic (and YAML). Like Nábrók, these pants are said to contain all other pants. 👖✨
