This repo includes the code necessary to run the PACS methodology as proposed in "Abductive Reasoning with Probabilistic Commonsense", in ICML 2026 (https://arxiv.org/abs/2605.08011).
To run the PACS methodology on datasets FOLIO, COSMOSQA and QUAIL, see files ./PACS/beam.py, beam_cosmo.py, beam_quail.py respectively.
To run the self-consistency baseline, see ./SC/sc_folio.py, sc_cosmo.py, sc_quail.py respectively.
Datasets are stored in ./dataset
Pre-processed logical translations of the datasets are stored in ./init_translation
The few-shot used for PACS-quail is provided as a sample in ./logic_cot_fewshot_quail_new.txt.
