Technology leader by day. Builder by default. Curious by nature. Passionate nerd since the Amiga era. 🤓
My path into tech started with an Amiga 500 🕹️, a stack of magazines, a lot of exploration, trial and error, and an urge to understand how things worked.
"Paper, patience and progress". It taught me that curiosity opens doors, problem solving is a superpower, and persistence turns frustration into progress — lessons that still shape how I learn, build and explore today.
That machine sparked a lifelong passion for computers, games and programming — but more importantly, it shaped how I still approach technology today:
🧭 explore → 🔍 understand → 🔨 build → 💥 break → 💡 learn → 🔁 improve
The tools have changed. The curiosity has not.
Same curiosity. Different tools. The journey continues.
The Amiga taught me to explore, to be curious, and not to be afraid of the unknown.
Today that curiosity tends to pull me toward the edges where different disciplines meet (my "rabbit holes" 🌀):
- 🤖 AI & agentic systems — orchestration, memory, observability, governance, intelligent routing, performance and efficiency
- 🌱 AgTech, sustainability & renewable energy — augment the physical world with technology, and use abundant clean energy to turn scarcity into solvable engineering problems
- 🔌 IoT & electronics — software escaping the screen and interacting with the physical world
- 🎮 Game development & modding — systems, tools, assets and dissecting game mechanics
- 📐 CAD / 3D — turning ideas into things you can hold or worlds to explore
- 🛠️ Developer tooling — automation, CLI tools and workflows that remove friction
A few things I've built, explored or probably spent too much time thinking about.
| Project | What & why | Tech |
|---|---|---|
| 🧠 Exocortex | Agent operating layer — model- and harness-agnostic glue adding memory, observability and control to agentic workflows. | AI Agents Python |
| 🧰 ShellKit | Terminal-first script toolbox — launching scripts, tools and automations fast and frictionless using a single easy-to-remember command. | PowerShell TUI |
| 🗝️ Xilent Secure Vault | Offline-first secure vault — protecting sensitive data with deterministic key derivation, long-term recoverability and no dependency on cloud services or proprietary tooling. | C# Python Encryption |
| 💾 StateKeep | Application settings backup & restore — preserving app configurations across machines and reinstalls with simple, automated and repeatable workflows. | C# Windows Automation |
| 🔄 Get Me Ready | Cross-platform setup & provisioning toolkit — turning a fresh computer install into a configured environment through repeatable automation. | PowerShell Windows macOS Linux Automation |

curiosity
↓
problem → model → smallest useful architecture
↓
build → automate → observe → iterate
I prefer systems that are:
- simple enough to understand
- structured enough to evolve
- observable enough to debug
- useful enough to survive contact with reality
Pragmatism beats ceremony.
Working software beats architecture theatre.
Understanding the problem comes before choosing the tool.
I’ve spent 25+ years in professional software development, moving between hands-on engineering, architecture, technical strategy and leadership.
That has included building software, designing systems, leading engineering organisations, making architectural decisions and helping businesses navigate technical change.
GitHub is where I keep the technical side of that story.
My game-focused work lives under @w33zl.
That is where you'll find more of the modding, game tooling and experiments around games such as Farming Simulator, SCUM, Elder Scrolls Online and Skyrim.
🏆 I've released 40+ Farming Simulator mods · ~10M downloads · most rated 4.0–4.9 · some still downloaded 5+ years after their final update — good UX, solid design and attention to detail age well.
For me, technology has always been less about the machine itself and more about what it makes possible.
The Amiga was the first doorway.
Today the tools are different — AI, cloud, microcontrollers, GPUs, 3D modelling, automation — but the feeling is surprisingly similar:
What happens if I try this?
That question has carried me a long way.
