Published and independently verified ORM 6.0.0-beta.11, grouping PostgreSQL failure recovery and typed pagination. RC-quality iteration remains open in #516.
The new Five live PostgreSQL recovery cases verify server/client timeout, exact backend interruption, original SQL cause/stack when automatic rollback also fails, connection replacement, subsequent usable work and close draining admitted work. The direct-cleanup case actually failed before the fix. Separately, cancel-connection-failure reproduction showed native 3.5.12 returning success after the query deadline with an unhandled SocketException; 3.5.20 returned a catchable error without zone errors and replaced the connection. No ORM cancellation or retry framework was added. Native deadlines do not time application callback work. From beta.10: update the dependency, regenerate to use count(), and adapt code copied from the search example to Verified: native macOS ARM64 and Linux CI, PostgreSQL 18 and SQLite. Windows, Web, Flutter packaging and older PostgreSQL remain unverified. pub.dev beta.11 · GitHub prerelease · Release CI Removed only this batch's three merged branches, its private PostgreSQL instance, release staging files and diagnostic consumer/candidate archive after saving the proof. Main is clean with no stash or extra worktree. User-local ignored Flutter work and the requested Prisma research clone remain preserved; actual published archive and release evidence are retained. |
Publish 6.0.0-beta.11 as the complete PostgreSQL failure-recovery and typed-pagination batch: #525 and #526. These implementation PRs merged only after substantive Codex/CodeRabbit reviews of their exact final heads and successful real-database CI.
Count returns one integer in one SELECT, preserving filter scope and limit/offset without reading model fields. The complete user-search example reuses one typed filter for total + selected page in one read-only snapshot. PostgreSQL preserves its original SQL cause/stack through failed automatic rollback and requires native postgres 3.5.20 for upstream cancellation/deadline corrections.
From beta.10, update the dependency and regenerate to expose count(). Existing generated methods remain usable; reviewed frozen histories and fingerprints stay unchanged. Adapt code copied from searchUsers to its
(users, total)record.Refs #516
Validation: final implementation CI passes 221 real SQLite/PostgreSQL tests without database skips, generation, analysis, the complete shop and Dartdoc with zero warnings/errors. The exact implementation candidate also passes an independent fresh consumer with both engines' client/migration generation, analysis, native AOT compilation and full business checks. Committed release-head Dartdoc and pub dry-run passed with zero warnings.
After merging this exact reviewed release head, tag the actual merge commit, create a GitHub prerelease and publish to pub.dev. Download the actual pub.dev archive, verify its server SHA-256, and rerun the independent consumer before recording publication completion. Windows, Web, Flutter packaging and older PostgreSQL remain unverified.
