How ready is your iOS app for iOS 26?
GlassForge is a deterministic CLI that scans any iOS codebase and produces a readiness score for iOS 26 / Liquid Glass migration. No cloud, no AI, no data leaves your machine.
- Swift vs Objective-C ratio (files and lines)
- UIKit vs SwiftUI adoption metrics
- Storyboard and XIB counts
- Deprecated API usage (iOS 26 rules with replacements)
- Dependency manager detection (SPM, CocoaPods, Carthage)
- Dependency migration risk scoring
- Layout risk signals (fixed frames,
.constant()) - Objective-C footprint and mixed-module detection
- Test presence
Output: structured JSON artifact + optional Markdown report.
# Install
git clone https://github.com/mbaneshi/glassforge.git
cd glassforge
swift build -c release
# Scan your app
.build/release/glassforge analyze /path/to/your/ios-app
# Generate a readable report

glassforge analyze . # Scan current directory
glassforge analyze /path --output-dir ./reports # Custom output
glassforge report . # Markdown report from artifact
glassforge version # Version and schema infoThe CLI writes glassforge-artifact.json (schema version 2025.02.1) containing:
- Readiness score (0-100)
- Deprecated API findings with replacement suggestions
- Dependency risk assessment
- UI stack metrics
- Layout risk signals
Use it for local reporting, CI gates (--fail-under), or feed it into your planning process.

Rules are versioned and deterministic. No AI, no heuristics — same input always produces same output.
