The four-version CI matrix fails on a dated observed-behavior fixture: the April 1 note now exceeds the 180-day limit. Python 3.14 reports the two test failures; the other matrix jobs are cancelled by fail-fast.
Pass explicit dates in fixture tests and give make validate a separately named observed-behavior-snapshot target that uses the existing benchmark reference date. Keep make observed-behavior and idctl validate-observed on the real current clock. Add 180/181-day boundary and default-live-clock regressions; do not refresh evidence timestamps or weaken freshness/privacy policy.
Local verification: make validate passes all 55 tests and remaining snapshot/integration checks; make drift-check passes; coverage is 78%. Wheel/sdist build passed. The PR CI verifies Python 3.11–3.14 and installed-wheel integrations. Historical snapshot validation does not certify old evidence as current.
