This project was created to practise SQL queries and data validation techniques used in QA testing.
The project focuses on:
- checking relationships between tables
- validating data consistency
- finding missing or incorrect data
- identifying potential data quality issues
Northwind sample database (MySQL version)
The project includes 25 validation checks covering:
- Customer validation
- Order validation
- Product validation
- Supplier validation
- Data integrity validation
- 25 validation checks executed
- 23 passed
- 1 failed
- 1 requires business clarification
BUG-001 – Order shipped before order date
A data inconsistency was found where the shipped date was earlier than the order date.
