I'm Jaron Polo, a hobbyist C programmer. I primarily focus on emulation development and reverse engineering. Believe it or not, I'm currently working on three emulators!
When I'm not programming, I like going on walks, gardening, and talking to my cat. (she's getting quite good at Itanium assembly...)
- Epic! - my proudest project. A full-system Itanium emulator, optionally a microarchitectural simulator. Targets the HP i2000 workstation, the HP zx2000 workstation, and the HP rx2660 Integrity server (more models to come!) - all running real firmware, with full chipset emulation and a pretty fast dynamic recompiler.
- DisARM - my Tegra 2 ARMv7 (ARM32) emulator.
- Uncooperative - my Tandy 2000 emulator.
- Itanium MSR Research – An ongoing effort to reverse-engineer Itanium Model-Specific Registers.
- Itanic - a CPU-Z-like program made specifically for Itanium NT.
- Itanium PAL collection - a museum of Itanium Processor Abstraction Layer (PAL) blobs, in collaboration with TheBrokenPipe.
- Revenant - a x86(-64) emulator. Models a variety of machines ranging from the original 1982 IBM XT 5150 to the Dell Dimension 8250 (with experimental Radeon 9700 emulation --> Longhorn DCE!), plus more.
