Summary

  • Typography: titles, headings and body share Inter on every documentation page (the condensed display face stays on the homepage); calmer scale (title 2–2.6rem, h2 1.55rem, h3 1.2rem), body one step below the heading color, 66ch measure, consistent heading spacing.
  • Code: IBM Plex Mono everywhere; --sl-font-mono named JetBrains Mono, which was never loaded.
  • UI: heading anchors and code copy buttons stay quiet until hover/focus (44px always-visible copy target on phones); one sidebar badge style; small-caps table headers.
  • Fixes: long "On this page" entries ran off the screen (panel sized from the 18rem left sidebar); on phones, prose and headings sat 1rem further in than the title, code and callouts.
  • CI: on docs-only changes the docs job also runs tests that locate the docs through path segments (join(root, 'docs', 'src')), such as the .not-content guard for theme rules.

Typography lives in docs-theme.css so test/docs-theme-not-content.test.ts (unchanged) keeps checking it; superseded heading rules are removed. Checked with screenshots in light/dark, desktop/mobile, on guides, architecture, blog and home (unchanged). No version bump, no source or test changes.

Set titles, headings and body in Inter on every page with a sidebar (the
condensed display face stays on the homepage), with a calmer scale, body copy
one step below the heading color, a 66ch measure and consistent heading
spacing. Use IBM Plex Mono for all code: --sl-font-mono named JetBrains Mono,
which the site never loaded. Keep heading anchors and code copy buttons quiet
until hover or focus, give sidebar badges one style, set table headers in small
caps, wrap long "On this page" entries (the panel was sized from the 18rem left
sidebar), and give phone prose, headings, code and callouts one gutter.

The typography lives in docs-theme.css, where the .not-content guard test
checks it; the superseded heading rules in docs-reading.css and docs-theme.css
are removed. On docs-only changes, CI now also runs the tests that locate the
docs through path segments (join(root, 'docs', 'src')).
