Automatic theme switching in Windows and Mac OS

Clean install with a new project.

When building a project i see the ability to switch themes in the project from Light to Dark. I do not see the function to allow a project to switch automatically with the Operating system setting. I did not find this request, but with the number of repos for Eclipse I could have missed it.

If possible can this feature be added?

I think you are taking about this:

This is not a project-specific preference but rather a workspace preference. Given you can't reuse workspace across Windows and Mac OS it doesn't seem possible to support what you appear to be asking.
