POST /templates returned a failed record without a rebuild, so a caller that fixed the setup could not build again until the janitor deleted the record a day later.

A POST for a failed template now puts the same record back into building and starts a build. last_error stays until that build ends, so the reason remains readable while the rebuild runs.

Validation:

  • uv run ruff check, uv run ruff format --check, uv run pyright: clean.
  • uv run pytest src/templates src/janitor: 22 passed, including the new rebuild test.
