Don’t invent a SoftStop category. This PR walks into rooms that already say frequency audit, SDR blackout, and caps in the prompt don’t work, and ships the 15-line send-path fix plus the assets you asked for next.

Drafted (as requested)

• Frequency audit one-pager: docs/FREQUENCY_AUDIT.md and public docs /start/frequency-audit — list every system that can hit a contact; SoftStop as the shared journal when the list is >1 (Pedowitz/SalesHive language, not a new noun).
• Warm DMs for 5 design-partner shapes: docs/press/DESIGN_PARTNER_DMS.md — GTM eng (domain burn), RevOps (collision), platform (orphan rate / self-host), LinkedIn comment-then-DM, Clay/Apollo + Klaviyo founder. Offer is wire check/record for a public before/after, not a pitch deck.
• Operator loop: docs/DISTRIBUTION.md — where they gather, 60s proof, week 1–4, what not to do (ads, ESP charts, CDP, spray “we’re open source”).

Trust before Show HN

• PyPI line was a lie (pypi.org/pypi/softstop is 404). README, docs, and examples now use git subdirectory / editable checkout. npm softstop is unchanged.
• Titles/OG dropped “circuit breaker for outreach” (README, docs home, demo hero). Body can still be searched later; headlines use send-path / frequency audit.
• Discussion form added (.github/DISCUSSION_TEMPLATE/). You still need to enable Discussions and set GitHub topics: ai-agents, gtm, frequency-capping (API is read-only from this agent).
• Show HN copy in docs/press/LAUNCH_BLURBS.md — post only with the honest install lines.
