The 15-minute timeout was too short for Rust project operations (exploration, compilation, testing), causing the agent to terminate unexpectedly with MCP server connection errors. Fixes #332 Assisted-by: AI Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Reviewed the timeout increase from 15 to 30 minutes for the Drafter workflow.
Verified:
- Change correctly addresses issue #332 (workflow timeouts causing engine termination)
- Root cause analysis is sound—AbortError logs confirm timeout, and Rust operations (cargo compilation, testing) require significant time
- 30 minutes is appropriate—doubles the timeout while remaining well under activation (60min) and safe_outputs (45min) limits
- Minimal, focused change with thorough documentation
- Follows repository conventions
The lockfile recompilation requirement is clearly documented in the PR description for post-merge action. This change is ready to merge.

Even 30 minutes is probably too short... |

.github/workflows/drafter.mdSummary
Fixes #332
The Drafter workflow was failing with "Engine Failure: The
claudeengine terminated unexpectedly" and MCP server connection errors. Analysis of the error logs and workflow configuration revealed that the 15-minute timeout was too short for operations on a Rust project.Changes
timeout-minutesin.github/workflows/drafter.mdfrom 15 to 30 minutesRationale
Rust projects require significant time for:
The compiled workflow shows that while the top-level activation job has a 60-minute timeout and the safe_outputs job has 45 minutes, the agent step itself only had 15 minutes. This mismatch meant the agent would be terminated mid-execution when working on non-trivial changes.
