Restarting now clears the player position and firing animation along with score and lanes, and resets the shared clock even when the game is already running. A restart just before a tick therefore waits a full interval before advancing the new round.
Validation:
npm run checkpassed. Isolated timing checks covered active-game restart, restart after death, frame cleanup, and the initial 200ms/500ms tick intervals.
