A firelit longhouse at 63° 21′ N in Norrland, Sweden. Scroll to approach through the white silence and into the house. Rendered in real time.

A sister piece, Ljusvik, is set on the west coast.

Built with

Three.js and WebGL, bundled into a single self-contained index.html. Ambient sound is generated with Web Audio.

Run locally
