Computer Science undergraduate at the University of Manchester, working on online recurrent learning, knowledge representation and reliable AI systems.
- CUHK-Shenzhen: summer research from June to August 2026, followed by contracted project research collaboration from September 2026.
- Manchester final-year project: online recurrent learning and temporal credit assignment, supervised by Mingfei Sun. My public RTRL/SnAp study contains the earlier educational implementations and gradient checks.
I am interested in how AI systems represent knowledge, learn from changing information and respond to contradictory evidence. My projects combine experimental analysis with software that makes data, model behavior and results easier to inspect.
| Project | Work represented |
|---|---|
| KG-MNP-Demo | Ontology engineering toolchain with RDF/OWL compilation, SHACL validation, human review and traceable data handoffs. |
| Scanly | Modular barcode-scanning SDK with browser, Node.js and React APIs, WebAssembly decoding, temporal tracking and native wrappers. |
| Hunton Local Brain | QLoRA fine-tuning and edge-deployment workflow for Qwen2.5-3B, with structured JSON actions, GGUF quantization and validation tools. |
| RTRL/SnAp study | Educational JAX implementations of BPTT, exact RTRL and SnAp-1 on the Copy Task, with numerical gradient checks. |
| ReCoAlign | Archived vision-language evaluation research with frozen protocols, controlled experiments and documented negative results. |
| NoteVault | AI-assisted Markdown notebook with authenticated storage, branching conversations and user-reviewed note capture. |
More systems work: PrismTranscode, a local media-conversion workbench with a Go service, persistent job queues and in-browser FFmpeg WebAssembly processing.
- Research and data: Python, JAX, PyTorch, NumPy, RDF/OWL, SHACL and SPARQL.
- Applications and systems: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, FastAPI, Go, PostgreSQL, SQLite and Firebase.
- Verification: pytest, Playwright, GitHub Actions, numerical checks and reproducible experiment records.
