Generally, LGTM. Just double check (maybe with diff) that nothing important that was previously published is now excluded.

Replace the .npmignore blocklist with a `files` allowlist in package.json. The published package no longer includes development configuration files (.prettierignore, eslint.config.mjs); README.md and package.json are always included by npm.
