Tech for Social Impact

Student developers at Western University building software for Canadian nonprofits, for free.

TSI is the Western chapter of the Tethos Association, a federally incorporated Canadian nonprofit. Each year, teams of student developers led by two PMs take on one nonprofit each and build what it needs.

Across Tethos: 100+ student developers, 2 chapters (Western and UBC), 20+ projects shipped and $300k+ saved for nonprofit clients.

  • Grand Theatre
  • Growing Chefs!

Past clients
