This project is an ASP.NET Core Razor Pages web application that demonstrates CPU-bound parallelism in .NET using PLINQ through a Monte Carlo simulation for estimating the value of π (Pi).
The application allows users to configure simulation parameters such as the number of iterations and degree of parallelism, run the simulation either sequentially or in parallel, and compare performance metrics like execution time, speedup, and efficiency.
- Monte Carlo π estimation
- Parallel execution using PLINQ
- Configurable degree of parallelism
- Option to run sequential vs parallel for comparison
- Performance metrics:
- Execution time
- Iterations per second
- Threads used
- Speedup
- Efficiency
- Server-rendered UI using Razor Pages
