My game is crashing on startup/mods or content don't appear to be loading!
Make sure all mods are fully updated and properly installed. Make sure your installs arent nested (e.x. There should be mod files at Mods/Cryptid, rather than Mods/Cryptid/Cryptid). When updating lovely, make sure to follow the install guide on its github rather than downloading it like an ordinary mod.
What's up with all the "M" jokers/references to Jolly Joker?
"M" is a reference to an incident in the official Balatro Discord where a user named mjiojio was spamming the letter "m" in various channels. When asked what their least favourite joker was, they answered with Jolly Joker, and that's how the "M" joke became a thing!
There's some content in the mod I don't like! Is there any way to remove them?
You can disable some features of the mod by opening your Mods, clicking [Cryptid], going over to the Config tab, and clicking Thematic Sets. There, you can toggle various Cryptid additions on or off as you see fit. You can also enable/disable certain music tracks in the Music tab. If you're a streamer, you may want to disable the Jimball music here or in the popup when obtaining it.
I'm hitting infinity very often, is there any way to raise the limit of the scoring system?
Amulet may not be configured to be on Omeganum mode, which has a maximum limit of 1e308#1##1e308. You can make the limit virtually disappear by going into Mods, then clicking Amulet, and changing the Score Limit under Config. Be careful; if you have a saved run that was on a different number system, you won't be able to load it (unless if you switch back)! If you are reaching Infinity with Amulet set to Omeganum, you are likely running into some sort of bug in Amulet. True Infinity is not actually reachable with Cryptid alone (or most other mods for that matter) and is in 99% of cases caused by a bug.

Be sure to give us as much information about the bug/crash as possible on the issues. A way to reproduce the bug/crash is also especially useful information to help us fix it. Before reporting an issue, please make sure that it is not already reported, and that it is not yet fixed on the main branch. If the bug you are reporting is a duplicate of a previously closed issue, reopen that issue instead.
