The SamsungDS GitHub Organization hosts Open-Ecosystem activities for Samsung Device Solutions.
Samsung's Global Open-ecoSystem Team (GOST) is responsible for these activities. Our mission is to provide end-to-end solutions by using the Open-Ecosystem to support new hardware across different industries including Memory, Chip Design, and Chip Production. We look at the Open-Ecoystem as a combination of Open-Source, Standards, and Industry Synergy. GOST members include maintainers and contributors in several open-source projects, co-authors in standards bodies, and publishers and presenters at top academic and industry events.
The repositories in the SamsungDS GitHub Organization include:
- Projects created by Samsung to address an industry need
- Projects forked to facilitate open-development before upstreaming to mainline mailing lists (e.g., Linux Kernel)
- Projects forked to facilitate PRs in GitHub
