Rhizome Project

Experimental runtime for multi-agent coordination

Rhizome Project

Rhizome is an experimental open-source runtime for durable, inspectable coordination among autonomous agent teams. It keeps tasks, ownership, evidence, review, shared context, and recovery in persistent state instead of hiding the work inside a single model call.

Start here

  • Rhizome Runtime — the AGPL-3.0 research-preview runtime, CLI, service, and native agent worker.
  • Early Signal 01 — a reproducible autonomous software build with source, tests, release artifacts, run evidence, and an explicit provenance boundary.
  • rhizome-project.com — system overview, research notes, and the current Early Signals publication status.

Signal 01 is the only published Early Signal today. Additional reports remain in preparation and are labeled as such on the project website.
