Adds a verified contribution in
tests/test_audio_ocr_helpers.py.Adds focused offline regression coverage for format_segments, including empty input, segments without word timestamps, word timestamp extraction, whitespace normalization, IDs, timing preservation, and transcript assembly. The complete test suite was executed successfully (30 passed), and no production behavior or out-of-scope files were changed.
Verification
python -m pytest -q — 30 passed. Tests ran in an isolated environment with network disabled. A separate automated review approved the patch; maintainer review remains pending. No auto-merge.
