… fill On v1, context properties are filled inside _enqueue, before before_send. The test patched _enqueue itself, so it saw the event before the fill and lost $request_path and role. 💡 Motivation and Context
Stacked on #1048. Part of the 8.0 series (checklist in #1016). Brings what landed on
mainsince #1044 into the 8.0 series, so 8.0 doesn't drop it:$mcp_interfaceon MCP eventsEach upstream commit is cherry-picked with
-x, inmainorder, and changes exactly the same lines as its original. All applied without conflicts.One commit is v1-only: #1040's new
test_context_only_enriches_events_without_redirecting_the_clientpatched_enqueueto read the event. On v1, context properties are filled inside_enqueue, beforebefore_send, so the test saw the event before the fill. It now records the event inbefore_send. The assertions are unchanged.v1 review of the new code: neither PR adds an event builder, writes a legacy
$option property, or sets$lib.$mcp_interfaceis a plain property. #1040's exception capture reuses the existing metadata path that 8.0 already adapted.💚 How did you test it?
