Summary
Library sync now accepts the current book contract directly. Custom metadata remains opaque instead of promoting values from legacy envelopes into book columns. Remove compatibility-only normalization and update tests to verify explicit book fields, metadata preservation, validation and atomic patches.
Validation
Integration
Coordinates with the client cleanup of nested metadata envelopes and deprecated aliases. No database schema change, historical migration rewrite or data reset is included. Older payload formats are intentionally unsupported during pre-release development.
