I'm Franco. I run product for the cross-border payments squad at belo, a LatAm fintech with 3.5M+ users, after four years leading its mobile engineering.

I got here from the code side: I led the rewrite of the belo app from Flutter to React Native in five months and then ran the frontend and mobile teams. Today most of my work is roadmap, OKRs, payment-provider integrations in new countries, and the SQL behind every decision. A good part of it runs on AI agents I set up and maintain myself.

On the side I build i1n (https://i1n.ai), localization as code for React and React Native: CLI, dashboard and an MCP server so coding agents can translate without leaving the editor.

I think a lot about developer tools, local-first software and how to make things that don't break. I keep a second brain in Obsidian where most of my ideas start.
