HID++ replies are matched by feature and function only, so a background
onboard-profile reload running during a flash took the write's sector
reads and failed its checksum check ("The profile failed its checksum;
refusing to write"). HITS tuning applied live but never reached the
profile, so it reset on the next power cycle.
- flash waits for an in-flight profile reload as well as a refresh
- the automatic reload no longer starts during a write
- the reload button is ignored during a write
- the wait limit is raised to 5 s to cover a wireless reread

Retry the profile reload when the write ends.
If a profile load fails before flashPendingChanges(), onboardProfiles remains null. The post-write applyStatus() call runs while settingInProgress is still true, so it skips the reload. endDeviceWrite() then clears the flag without retrying.
A later status refresh can retry the load only when it reaches applyStatus() with a changed status. The profile list can therefore remain empty until that occurs or the user presses Reload.

Problem
Flashing Logitech profile settings intermittently failed with "The profile failed its checksum; refusing to write."
@openmouse/protocolmatches HID++ replies on feature index + function id only.applyStatusfires an untrackedvoid reloadOnboardProfiles()wheneveronboardProfilesis null, andflashPendingChangesonly waited forrefreshInProgress. When a flash started while that reload was running, both were issuingmemoryReadon the onboard-profiles feature, the replies crossed, andopenActiveProfileread a scrambled sector that failed its CRC check. A failed reload nullsonboardProfiles, so the next poll starts another reload, which is why it kept happening once it began.Visible effect on HITS mice:
writeStagedAnalogButtonssets the live values first (so the change looked applied), thenpersistAnalogButtonTuningfailed, so the profile kept the old tuning and the mouse reverted on the next power cycle or wake.Fix
flashPendingChangeswaits foronboardProfilesLoadingas well asrefreshInProgress.applyStatusdoes not start whilesettingInProgress(the write path rereads profiles itself).rereadOnboardProfiles()that is a no-op during a write.REFRESH_WAIT_TIMEOUT_MSgoes from 2 s to 5 s, since a full profile reread over wireless can exceed 2 s.Nothing is removed; no UI or string changes.
Testing
npm run build,npm test(400 pass),npm run size(JS 2,785,453 / 2,800,000 bytes) all pass.Note
Fix Logitech onboard-profile read/write races by gating flash and reload operations
flashPendingChangesin controller.ts now waits until bothrefreshInProgressandonboardProfilesLoadingfinish before writing, since overlapping HID++ profile reads can consume the write operation's sector-read replies. The wait deadline is raised from 2,000 ms to 5,000 ms (REFRESH_WAIT_TIMEOUT_MS), and a timeout fails the flash through the existing error path.applyStatusInnerskips the automatic onboard-profile reload while a setting is in progress, so a setting write no longer triggers a concurrent profile read.rereadOnboardProfileswrapper returns immediately whensettingInProgressis true; the refresh button in Profiles.tsx now uses it instead of callingreloadOnboardProfilesdirectly.Macroscope summarized 4052d30.
