MergeStudio Games is a collaborative game studio focused on mobile-first experiences. We combine clear architecture, practical automation, and thoughtful design so a small team can move from an idea to a testable game without losing maintainability.
We use public repositories to document our engineering decisions, reusable foundations, development standards, and release checks. Each game remains its own repository with its own roadmap, assets, product identity, and production secrets.
MergeStudio is our Unity 6.6 game-project template and a working mobile merge-game foundation. It provides:
- event-driven gameplay with merge, orders, energy, and currency systems;
- local persistence with recovery-oriented save behavior;
- localization and Addressables setup;
- EditMode and PlayMode test structure;
- Android AAB and iOS Xcode GitHub Actions workflows;
- bilingual documentation and AI-assisted development instructions for Codex and Claude;
- issue forms, pull-request checklists, branch conventions, and developer bootstrap tools.
The template is a starting point. A new game gets its own repository through Use this template; game-specific scenes, art, balance, identifiers, services, signing keys, and secrets are configured in that new repository.
- Open the MergeStudio template.
- Select Use this template → Create a new repository.
- Create the new repository under
MergeStudio-Gameswith a short PascalCase name. - Clone it, install the pinned Unity editor and Android modules, then run
Tools/Bootstrap-Developer.ps1. - Read
AGENTS.mdandCONTRIBUTING.mdbefore starting feature work.
Feature work targets develop; main is the release branch. Every game repository can be given to Codex or Claude because its development rules travel with the code.
- Unity
6000.6.0f1(Unity 6.6 Supported) - C# and Unity Test Framework
- Addressables and Localization
- Git LFS and GitHub Actions
- GameCI for Unity tests and builds
- Android AAB verification in CI
We add libraries when a game needs them and when their Unity 6.6 compatibility, mobile performance cost, licensing, and maintenance burden are understood.
- Use this template → Create a new repository seçin.
- Repo’yu
MergeStudio-Gamesaltında kısa ve PascalCase bir adla oluşturun. - Clone edin, sabit Unity sürümünü ve Android modüllerini kurun,
Tools/Bootstrap-Developer.ps1çalıştırın. - Geliştirmeye başlamadan önce
AGENTS.mdveCONTRIBUTING.mddosyalarını okuyun.
Özellikler develop dalında geliştirilir; main yayın dalıdır. Her oyun repo’su Codex veya Claude’a verildiğinde kurallarını ve geliştirme bağlamını birlikte taşır.
- Build small, test early, and keep the player experience clear.
- Prefer maintainable systems over unnecessary dependencies.
- Keep production secrets out of repositories.
- Record what was tested and what remains unverified.
- Share reusable foundations through templates and documentation.
