Problem and resulting behavior

The application header repeated connection badges, a Gist ID, synchronization labels, and a setup button. Page headers and side panels repeated the same status and counts.

Replace the header controls with three accessible icons for Workspace status/repair, theme, and GitHub. Remove redundant descriptions, summary badges, overview status panels, the Gist information sidebar and duplicate refresh control, and the export statistics card. Keep actionable warnings, recovery controls, publication links, and list counts. Overview counts link to their management pages; the header stays on one row on narrow screens.

Task and verification evidence
