🚗 Ride Safety App Detects knife threats and strangulation inside ride-hailing cars: the phone camera streams to a server running YOLOv8 + YOLOv8-Pose. Fine-tuned on our own dataset, raising knife detection from 0% to 78% per frame; every threat sequence in our tests was flagged, with no false alarms. Written up as a research paper.
