Hi, I'm José Luis Pamplona

Backend engineer working in Elixir since 2017: Phoenix, LiveView, PostgreSQL, Docker and the CI around them. I've been a tech lead and I've done QA, mostly on industrial software. I'm in Querétaro, Mexico (UTC−6) and open to remote work.

What I'm building

  • Dockerized Elixir Workbench: creates and runs Phoenix projects on localhost with nothing installed but Docker. Over 40 cartridges (Igniter installers that patch a project through its AST) each go in as one commit and come out as one revert, and a LiveView console drives the whole thing. Around 1,100 tests, with Credo strict and Dialyzer on every push.
  • ExDebug: debugging helpers for Elixir pipelines that are active only in dev and test. Published on Hex.
