Hey there 👋 I'm Code!
I'm a full-stack software engineer, longtime web developer, lifelong tech nut. I like building cool things and working on open source projects with other awesome developers out there.
I've been building websites since the mid 2000s, so I've seen the web evolve for longer than I'd like to admit. I started as a software intern way back when, spent my share of time in a maze of gray cubicles, and eventually moved into leading teams and projects remotely across the world. For many years, I worked on medical applications, logistics platforms, embedded UIs, file system tools, and a lot more in between. These days, it's cleaning up a lot of what AI generates [insert T-800 meme here], and trying to make a living building things I enjoy with companies that still care about the people doing the work.
Most of my work is with TypeScript, C#, and reactive programming patterns. Angular has been at the core of most of my professional work for 10+ years, usually alongside C# (ASP.NET) or Node.js (Express). Aside from work I like to tinker with embedded programming for systems like Raspberry Pi and Espruino. I'm also into 3D printing, hardware modding, game development, vector art, and pretty much anything else on a computer.
If there's one thing I'd want you to remember me by, it's this: Keep learning, stay persistent, and never give up on building a life around the things you enjoy doing. You'll spend almost half your life working, so make sure it's on something that matters to you.
