Hey folks! I'm Vishwanath Barve, an AI/ML Engineer, Full-Stack Software Developer, and Theoretical Computer Science enthusiast passionate about building intelligent systems, solving complex algorithmic problems, and exploring the intersection of AI and computer science.

Currently pursuing my undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IITJ), I actively work across software engineering, artificial intelligence, competitive programming, and applied research.

Competitive programming has been a significant part of my journey, with over 8 years of coding experience. I've solved 1500+ problems across various coding platforms. I'm a Codeforces Expert and CodeChef 4★ programmer, with a 2000+ rating and a Peak Global Top 50 ranking in DSA in my peak time. Some of my most notable competitive achievements include securing Rank 2 at ICPC GRCPC, becoming a Regional Champion, and achieving Global Rank 4 at the ICPC RSU Oklahoma Intercontinental Invitational 2026. I've also received Highest Honors at ICPC, secured Rank 177 at Huawei UCSOC 2026 and securing Rank 8 in the ICPC Far Russia Eastern Qualification Round 2026, and been a Microsoft India Excel Championship National Finalist. Alongside competitive programming, I hold WorldQuant BRAIN Gold recognition and actively mentor aspiring competitive programmers.

Beyond competitive programming, I enjoy building things and participating in hackathons. I've won 3 hackathons, including the Hacktoberfest HackFest, and secured finalist positions across 10+ hackathons. I've also served as a hackathon jury on 3 occasions, evaluating projects and technical implementations. Being on both sides of the hackathon ecosystem has given me a broader perspective on building, presenting, and evaluating.

Beyond technical work, I strongly believe in giving back to the developer community. As a 17× Open Source Mentor, I've mentored hundreds of developers, guided contributors through open-source programs, and conducted technical workshops. I currently contribute to developer communities including AWS Student Builders Group IIT Jodhpur (Lead), Swift Coding Club IITJ (Lead), and Kotlin User Group Pune (Organizer).
