Starts tracking ~/.config/traefik/docker-compose.yml, which the traefik-* aliases from #76 point at. .config/* ignored it, so this adds a !.config/traefik/ exception next to the others in .gitignore.

The file moved here from ~/Code/traefik and has three changes:

  • Pins name: traefik, so the Compose project name doesn't depend on the folder
  • Declares the traefik network external: true. The network was created by hand, so Compose warned that it didn't own it. It's shared by the app projects (Control, CRM, FraudCentral, crazytel-ui, dsalim), which already declare it external. This also stops traefik-down from trying to remove it.
  • Binds the dashboard to 127.0.0.1:8080. With --api.insecure=true it was open to anyone on the LAN.

Port 80 still listens on every interface. No secrets are in the file; the only personal detail is the username in the Docker socket path.

After a full Docker reset, run docker network create traefik once before traefik-up.

Testing

  • docker compose up -d runs with no network warning
  • docker port traefik shows 8080/tcp -> 127.0.0.1:8080

Moved from ~/Code/traefik. Pinned the project name, declared the
`traefik` network external (it's created by hand and shared by the app
projects), and bound the dashboard to 127.0.0.1.
