Ordinary merges (incl. Renovate automerges) no longer publish. yarn release <version> opens a release PR; merging it publishes to npm, tags v<version> and creates the GitHub release with the PR description as notes.

mainnever publishes anymore (Renovate automerges included).yarn release <version>opens arelease/<version>PR that bumpspackage.jsonwith notes drafted from the commits since the last tag; merging it publishes to npm (trusted publishing), tagsv<version>and creates the GitHub release from the PR description.workflow_dispatchre-runs an existing release (all steps idempotent).
