Summary

main already declared compileSdk and targetSdk 36; this completes the release preparation.

• align the application and library Android Gradle Plugin versions on 8.10.1 and bump the app to version 1.1.4 (10)
• handle enforced edge-to-edge with safe drawing and IME insets for the top bar, scrolling content, and bottom controls
• keep app-level R8 while removing per-library shrinking that discarded public project classes before the application shrink step
• remove the unused JUnit Jupiter subtree from the JUnit 4 instrumentation dependency, ignore generated release AABs, and refresh SDK/tooling guidance

Validation

• ./gradlew testDebugUnitTest detekt lintDebug assembleDebug bundleRelease
• ./gradlew connectedDebugAndroidTest on an API 35 AVD: 6/6 tests passed
• API 35 visual smoke test with gesture navigation, 3-button navigation, IME display, and scrolling to the bottom controls
• release AAB generated successfully and passed the 16 KB zip alignment check
• git diff --check
