Installation

Make sure you've gone through Requirements first.

1. Back up any existing config

mv ~/.config/nvim ~/.config/nvim.bak

2. Clone this repo into place

git clone https://github.com/6aru/nvim.git ~/.config/nvim

3. Launch Neovim

nvim

On first launch, the plugin manager clones every plugin listed in lua/plugin-list.lua into ~/.local/share/nvim/plugins — this pauses for a bit the first time only. Run :PlugList afterward to confirm everything cloned successfully.

Language servers themselves are not installed yet at this point — that happens automatically the moment you open a file, or you can trigger it manually:

:Mason

mason-lspconfig installs whatever's listed in ensure_installed inside lua/plugins/lsp.lua and attaches it automatically. See Post-Installation-Setup for what to check afterward.

Updating later

:PlugUpdate

Pulls the latest commit for every installed plugin. See Useful-Commands for the rest of the built-in commands.
