VS2026 support

Since Visual Studio 2026 is around the corner, I wanted

a) inform that the insider program for vs2026 has started, in case it is not already known

b) I would like to ask what are the chances to get a vs2026 installer?

Thank you for your interest in the project and important information!

Support for the VS2026 & MSBuild 18 is definitely planned because vsSolutionBuildEvent is actively used in one form or another in many of my projects https://github.com/3F (including projects that are more popular than itself).

However, I cannot guarantee the timeliness of this support due to various problems and difficulties at all. My current scheme for the releases has been mentioned in 3F/coreclr#3 (comment)

... It is easier to prepare 1 normal solution I mean

Unfortunately nothing has changed yet;

Most likely only in November-December I'll try to devote time to vsSolutionBuildEvent tasks as planned (I know about its accumulated errors and inconveniences, including from internal reports, but ...).

In any case, any help in adapting the functionality up to VS2026 etc via PR is very welcome!
