Default browser settings

Thank you for the great app. Do you plan to add a feature for default browser selection? It would skip the browser selection for each link and instead work as "open in default browser if no matching rules set"?

First of all, sorry for the late reply! The community here is still new and I'm not used to checking Discussions yet. I'll keep a closer eye on this section from now on.

Here's how it works today:

• Rules send a link straight to a browser (and profile, optionally private) without showing the picker. A rule can cover an exact URL, a host (docs.github.com), a whole site (github.com and its subdomains), or every link coming from a given app (e.g. everything you click in Slack opens in Firefox). You can add them from the picker ("always open here") or from Settings → Rules.
• Anything that no rule covers shows the picker. That's the one gap you're describing: today there's no "everything else goes to browser X" rule.

The rule engine already supports a catch-all rule with the lowest priority, so any URL, host, site or app rule would still win over it. It just isn't exposed in Settings yet. What we could add:

• An "Any link" rule type in Settings → Rules: pick a browser (and profile), and every link without a matching rule opens there, with no picker.

Before building it, a couple of questions to make sure it fits what you have in mind:

1. Is that what you mean, a fallback browser for unmatched links, while your other rules keep working as they do now?
2. With a fallback in place the picker would never show up on its own. Would you still want a way to bring it up for a single link once in a while (for example, holding a key while clicking)? Or would removing the fallback rule when you need the picker be enough?
